• 40 acre loading yard
• 25 acre sorting and classification yard
• 15 acres of parking
• 4.5 miles of interchange track
• 1 wye track
• 4 buildings
• Tail track
• Excavated and placed to line and grade 1,000,000 cubic yards of earth material
• Installed 21 miles of A-2000 Contech HDPE pipe that tied into a CMP collection system
• Imported and placed over 225,000 tons of base material
• Imported and placed 100,000 tons of special sub-ballast

W. T. Byler company was the Heavy / Civil sub-contractor on this project. Facility was the largest military railhead ever constructed in the United States.

The Fort Worth District - US Army Corps of Engineers named this facility Project of the Year!
