The Byler family gives back to Sam Houston State (SAM) building the site for the Gibbs Ranch Agricultural Complex.
The project will house several academic programs and will serve as home to the SHSU Rodeo Team.
William T. “Bill” Byler earned his Bachelor of Science in agriculture business at SHSU. When he wasn’t competing with the SHSU rodeo team he earned money hauling cattle, leasing roping calves and selling firewood.
Following college, he began work at WT Byler Co – The company founded by his father Troy Byler in 1973. In 1994, Bill became vice-president of operations. Today, he serves as WT Byler Co president and CEO.
